What symptoms or conditions do you treat?

Our doctors treat a wide range of common traveler illnesses including fever, respiratory infections (colds, flu, COVID-19), stomach flu, dehydration, minor injuries, and skin rashes. For life-threatening emergencies (such as shortness of breath, Severe chest pain, Sudden weakness, Altered mental status), please dial 119 immediately.

What kind of doctor will see me?

A doctor with experience working at emergency centers and a pediatric medical center in Okinawa will visit you for consultation. Having worked in Okinawa for many years, we can coordinate with local medical institutions and refer you to the most appropriate nearby facility based on your condition.

Where exactly does the consultation take place?

We offer hotel-visit services. The doctor can meet you in your hotel room for privacy or in the lobby/common area if preferred. We also visit Airbnb properties and other registered tourist accommodations across Okinawa.

Can I use my travel insurance?

We operate on a pay-first basis via Stripe (credit card). After the visit, we provide you with a formal medical certificate and detailed receipt in English, which you can use to claim reimbursement from your travel insurance provider.

Can you provide services in languages other than Japanese?

Yes, we offer services in mainly English. We can also accommodate other languages such as Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Malay. However, our website and medical questionnaire are available only in English, Chinese, and Korean. For other languages, please use your browser's translation feature when filling out forms.

Can you test for COVID-19 and influenza? What other tests are available?

We offer rapid antigen tests for COVID-19 and influenza, with results available on the spot. We do not provide blood tests or imaging. If the doctor determines that additional testing is needed, we will advise you to visit a nearby emergency hospital or call an ambulance.
